BSc degree (Auckland University) 1991-1993

Bilingual French/English, plus some understanding of German and Spanish.

Previous work experience as D.O.C Ranger at Totaranui Campground.  Have also worked at the Waitomo Caves.

Current work providing reception and customer service at Nelson YHA.

Passionate about nature, wildlife (marine mammals in particular), and working with people.

Very keen on photography

Recent First Aid Certificate and training in Resuscitation and use of Defibrillation units.

Passionate about excellent customer service and experience talking to groups (ESL teacher)

Clean and tidy, hard-working.  Enthusiastic, helpful, patient and polite.  Also reliable and conscientious, but with sense of humour.  Handle stress and emergencies well and good at problem solving.  Definitely have that “Can-do” attitude.  Good at communication and numbers.  Fit and healthy and good swimmer.
